If you're looking for a place to get a burrito I feel like this restaurant will satisfy your cravings. It was my first time here at Taco Kabana and I got the Carne Asada Burrito. There's steak, tomato, lettuce and cheese in their burrito. I only wish they would add rice in their burrito. They give you a side verde sauce which tastes great with the burrito. This place is located in Union Mall in downtown Honolulu and had a nice seating area where you can enjoy your meal. It didn't take long for them to make the burrito and once done, if dining In, they'll come and serve your meal. Will definitely be coming here again for their burritos.

While I was on the go in downtown, I was on the hunt for a good burrito and came across Taco Kabana which is slightly tucked away on Union Mall.
I ordered the Carne Asada Burrito which included steak, cheese, pico de gallo, guacamole, and some greens. Also, there is fresh lime and hot sauce provided in the side. The ingredients were fresh and the burrito tasted great. However, I wish they had an option for Mexican rice in the burrito.
They also had a Jarrito flavor called "Jamaica" which I've never seen before. It's always a plus when you have options for Jarritos when eating a burrito/tacos. -

It's been over one month since I had Mexican food so I was really excited to find this place!
Mexican food is one of my favorite cuisines and I'm originally from Southern California so I'm used to having plenty of options to choose from.
And in comparison, the steak quesadilla I ordered was just as good as the ones I've tried back home!
At first I wanted to order the California burrito but they said they didn't have anymore french fries which was pretty disappointing. And the carne asada burrito tasted more like a wrap because the tortilla was cold and wasn't grilled.
I'll definitely come back when I start craving Mexican food but only for the quesadilla. -

One of the few places in downtown that I've discovered which has fresh fish tacos.
The white meat is soft and moist served on a flour tortilla with a nice heap of pico de gallo.
My colleague laughs at their small size but I find it is perfect sized when served with rice and beans in a two taco order.
I've had the chicken taco, also cute sized, and it was well seasoned and prepared as well.
Order take out from the window or dine in the small seating area. It's a quick meal that's a step above fast food. Check 'em out! -

I am so happy I found this place! I ordered the carne asada burrito and it was delicious! I will definitely be coming back here! I am not sure about parking since I walked from my friends condo a block away, but I don't think they validate, but there are public lots around for $3-5. They were super quick so no need to worry about paying to park for a long time. I think my burrito took maybe 4 minutes to receive after I ordered it. I would highly recommend this place!
